Kingston 🇯🇲

Kingston evening, full length in black lace

It's interesting how something as simple as a hairstyle can completely change the way you see yourself.

Every time I wear bangs, I feel like a different version of me. Not better. Just… different. Softer. A little more mysterious. It's amazing how small changes can shift your confidence.

It makes me wonder if that's how my clients feel when they leave after a subtle lip treatment. Their features are still theirs, but somehow they see themselves through a new lens.

Kingston evening, black lace and gold

Kingston remains my favourite clinic.

There's something difficult to put into words about returning to Jamaica. I grew up here, so there is an immediate familiarity. The conversations, the humour, the warmth. It all feels like home.

But now I experience it differently.

I return as someone who built a life overseas, carrying new experiences while still feeling deeply connected to where it all began. It's an interesting balance between familiarity and perspective, and I think that's what makes every trip back so meaningful.

A quiet moment in Kingston

Maybe that's why Kingston will always feel a little different. It reminds me where I started, while quietly reflecting how far I've come. 🖤
